About the Workshop:
Film Noir is like a dark alley on a rainy night: familiar, yet somehow unknown. We all have the images in our heads, the deep shadows, the upturned collars, and the melancholic sound of a saxophone. But what constitutes the true essence of the genre when we bring it to the stage without a script?
In this workshop, we dive deep into the world of broken heroes and dangerous encounters. It’s about more than just the look; it’s about the rhythm of the dialogue, the heavy silences, and the high-stakes relationships. We will explore how to breathe life into the iconic tropes – from the cynical detective to the femme fatale, and use inner monologues not just as a gimmick, but as a heartbeat for the scene.
