55116 Mainz
The projektbar is just a 10 min walk from Institut français. The nearest bus stop is Pfaffengasse.

Will there be a waiting list?

Unfortunately not.

What is the festival language?

We’re an international ensemble, so we speak English with many accents. Everyone is welcome, no matter how perfect your English is.

What level are the workshops?

Our level-system is not considered as static. We do know, that years of experience may not correspond with your actual improv-level. Nevertheless we wanted to give you a rough orientation. If you are uncertain if a workshop suits you, feel free to reach out!

All levels
For anyone who understands the basics. You have a curiosity for the artform, want to progress further and explore new territory.

Intermediate
For anyone with at least a few years of playing experience. You play regularly, maybe perform, and have mastered the craft. You are still curious, want to deepen your understanding of the basics, progress further and explore new territory.

Experienced
For anyone with a few years of playing and performing experience. You play regularly, perform with confidence, and have mastered the craft. You want to deepen your understanding of the basics, progress further, explore new territory, and perhaps wonder what else is possible in improvisation.

How does ticketing work?

Workshops
How to book a ticket for a workshop:

You reserve your spot via Yesticket.
You’ll then receive a reservation confirmation along with a request for your personal details.
Send us the required information.
After that, you’ll receive an invoice.
Once the invoice is paid, your workshop spot is secured!

What means reduced / regular / supporter-ticket?
A note upfront: Simply having eligibility for a reduced ticket doesn’t necessarily reflect your actual financial situation. Please consider whether you feel sufficiently comfortable to purchase a regular ticket and leave the reduced tickets for those who truly need them. Nevertheless:

Reduced Ticket: This ticket is for you if you are student/pupil or Bürgergeld-/Grundsicherungsempfänger_in. A verification is needed.
If you need for any other reason a reduced fee, please reach out to us via the contact sheet.

Regular Ticket: This ticket is for you if you consider yourself as an average-earner.

Supporter-Ticket: This ticket is for you if you feel financially comfortable and would like to support a new, community-based festival while helping to secure reduced ticket options for others.
As a supporter, you’ll receive a limited-edition piece of merchandise available only with this ticket. It also unlocks early access to every festival show, so you can choose the best seats before anyone else. It’s like a VIP fast lane — only better.

Will there be refunds?
Unfortunately not. We know that life is full of unexpected events that may make it impossible for you to attend a workshop you’ve already booked. In that case, we’re happy to help you find a substitute to take your place.

If, for any reason, we have to cancel a workshop due to circumstances within our responsibility, we will of course take care of the refunds.

Shows
You can either buy a single ticket for each show-slot or you can treat yourself with our Festival-Pass and enjoy all the shows without further worries.

Will there be discount options for the tickets?
Our prices are very reasonable and already with the thought in mind, to make the shows accessible for as most people as possible. So unfortunately there will be no further discounts.
